ABOUT THE TALENTFESTIVAL
Brief explanation
1,000 students from the Ruhr region and across Europe come together to transform the soccer stadium on Hafenstraße in Essen into a colorful place full of creativity, exchange, and youthful energy for one day. Young people present their ideas, projects, and visions and show how powerful and vibrant democracy can be.
Topics such as language, media literacy, Europe, democracy education, and intercultural understanding shape a diverse program that inspires and arouses curiosity. Whether it's an inspiring gallery walk, interactive hands-on stations, creative workshops, energetic dance performances, flash mobs, collaborative artworks, or sporting activities, there's something exciting and inspiring waiting everywhere—by young people, for young people.
The festival strengthens digital, social, and intercultural skills, broadens horizons, and promotes encounters.
